DESCRIPTION:AKVA x Sitowise Ekskursio 7.5. kello 14:00! \nEkskursiolla päästään ohjatulle vierailulle Gräsanojalle\, jossa pääset tutustumaan alueen tulvatasanteisiin\, pohjapato\, siivekkeisiin/poikkeamiin sekä mahdollisesti myös tulvakanavasuunnitteluun. \nEkskursio sisältää kävelyä noin 3-3\,5km\, sisältäen matkan bussipysäkiltä kohteelle. Tapahtuma pidetään englanniksi ja tilaa riittää 20 Akvan jäsenelle! Tarjolla kevyet eväät!! Ekskursio alkaa 14:00. Akva järjestää yhteislähdön Aalto yliopistolta. Lisätietoja matkustuksesta tulee myöhemmin. Jos suunnittelet saapuvasi paikalle omaa reittiä\, tarkka tapaamispaikka kerrotaan ennen tapahtumaa. Huomaa\, että Akva ei korvaa matkakustannuksia. Gräsanoja\, Espoo \nAKVA x Sitowise Excursion on May 7th at 2pm! \nOn this excursion\, we will be on a guided visit to Gräsanoja\, where you will get a chance to explore engineered floodplains\, riffles\, vanes/deflectors\, and possibly a flood channel design in the area. \nThe excursion may involve walking about 3-3\,5 kilometers\, including the distance from public transport to the site. It will be held in English and there is room for 20 Akva members! Light snacks will be provided!!  The excursion starts at 2pm. You are welcome to travel with Akva from Aalto University. More details on that to be sent soon. If you are planning to go on your own\, the exact meeting point will be shared before the excursion. SUMMARY:Vesihuoltopäivät 2025\, Tampere
DESCRIPTION:Nyt on aika ilmoittautua Akvan matkalle Tampereen Vesihuoltopäiville (14.-15.5.)!  Ilmoittautuminen alkaa 30.3. ja on auki 6.4. asti! Tämän jälkeen ilmoittautuminen muuttuu sitovaksi ja saat maksutiedot. Mukaan matkalle mahtuu 15 nopeinta ilmottautujaa. Matka alkaa Helsingin rautatieasemalta 14.5. klo 9.03 junalla kohti Tamperetta. Paluujuna on Helsingissä 15.5. noin klo 20. Matka kustantaa osallistujille maksimissaan 25€ ja hintaan kuuluu matkat ja yöpyminen. Lopullinen hinta varmistuu ilmoittautumisen päätyttyä. Osallistumme keskiviikkona tapahtuman nuorisoseminaariin. Registration starts on March 30th and runs until April 6th! After that\, your registration is locked in\, and you’ll get the payment details. We’ve got room for the first 15 participants so sign up fast! The journey kicks off from Helsinki Railway Station on May 14th at 9 AM by train heading to Tampere. We return to Helsinki on May 15th around 8 PM. The trip costs a maximum of 25€ per participant\, and it includes travel and accommodation. The final price will be confirmed after registration closes. We will attend the youth seminar on Wednesday afternoon. Tällä exculla pääset ensin kuulemaan hulevesien hallinnasta Vantaan kaupungin toimistolla Tikkurilassa ja tämän jälkeen näkemään rakenteiden toiminnan käytännössä maastokäynnillä! \nExculle on rajoitetusti paikkoja (lopullinen paikkamäärä ilmoitetaan pian)\, joten ilmoittaudu 15.5. mennessä! Kuljetuksesta exculle tulee lisää tietoa ilmoittautumisen sulkeuduttua. Tilaisuus järjestetään sekä sisä- että ulkotiloissa\, joten pukeuduthan sään mukaisin varustein ja kenkiin\, joilla voi kävellä hieman maastossa. ️ \nMITÄ? On this excursion you will first hear about storm water management in Vantaa at the City of Vantaa’s office in Tikkurila and then get to see the nature-based solutions in action in the field! \nThe excursion will be held mostly in Finnish with some parts translated in English. There are limited spots available (final number to be announced) so please sign up by May 15th! Once the sign up closes more information will be sent out about transportation to and from the excursion.
